Villagers

The Villagers have not yet made an actual appearance in the game. Their presence is referenced by the Collector.

Revelations of the Collector

"For years, when the government gave the community permission to set up here, people from my village were given the choice to unite with them or to remain separate on a reserved area of the island. Some decided to unite, me and a few others decided to remain, but the majority left the island for good."

The Collector indicates that he was a member of a fishing village that was native to the island. His people were displaced by the Turkish government in order to establish the community. He makes it clear that the some of the villagers remained on the island. It stands to reason that they would harbor ill-will toward the community for its presence on their home lands, forcing them to a reservation and defiling their traditions.
